I graduated from my 3 year Art College course with a Diploma in Art and Design and went straight into an advertising agency in London as an illustrator. This involved working on TV storyboards, concepts and finished artwork for publication in the public domain.
Going freelance a few years later enabled me to work for varied clients, from Ford, Renault and Castrol through to commissions for Racing UK, sky and Ribena.
An enjoyable Spell in 1999 was spent creating livery designs for the BAR F1 team.
My automotive paintings were always a background pursuit, created only when time allowed. I can now dedicate my attention to this avenue of art more thoroughly. I work in watercolour, pencil/charcoal but acrylics seems to be my favoured medium at present.
I feel lucky that my lifetime motorsport interest drives my painting passion. I work from my studio at home in Kent and have been a long standing Porsche Club member and enthusiast.
I look forward to meeting other Guild members who share this automotive passion.
